Thanks Mitchell! I agree that being able to speak the ideas does bring something extra to how they come across. Thanks for letting me know!

...excellent job putting into words something i have inherently always sensed but couldn't quite voice...i have faith that the little steps lead to the larger path, and even more so that repeatable process is the path to any end, especially larger ones...i talked to a friend today that wants to make his own TV show, but he was yet to even start a writing process...shared the concept of just starting, but not just starting writing, instead start writing with repetition...do it once a day, or a week, or every other, whatever works, but if you can't repeat the action the end will never be in sight...great work Jon!...

Thanks CansaFis! So glad to hear of a recent real-world example showing where this concept takes is helpful. I hope your friend gets into a groove and gets that compounding flywheel in motion. I really appreciate the feedback!

I see one fundamental decision as being the catalyst to all these principles firing together on all cylinders. Doing what you love. If doing something a lot, with consistency, is part of magic plan, then we'd better enjoy the activity to begin with, or we're going to hit a wall. If we get engaged with something we love, "success" - by repetition over time, and with the help of an outlier event, is virtually guaranteed.

So well put Rick! I agree that enjoying what you do is crucial to sticking with things and getting the reps in. I'd even go so far as saying that you can find enjoyment in a task you don't like by approaching it with this mindset. Finding ways to tweak and tune things to "suck less" with each rep can also become a source of joy and pride. As someone who helps people speak publicly, I imagine you might see this in your neck of the woods from time to time :)

It's seems a strangely universal obstacle, that most of us struggle to embrace and optimize our lives around what we truly love.
